Welcome to Peeping Pom Pomeranians.

My husband and I are, first and foremost, Pomeranian enthusiasts who strive to continue to strengthen the good qualities of this little dynamite breed.  We normally breed only 1-3 litters per year and breed for show purposes.  We keep it small so that we can take the time to care for our Pomeranians in the best possible manner.

It has been said, by those in the show circles, that we spoil our Poms.  Yes, we do.  These are living creatures---who feel happiness, sadness, joy and pain just as we humans do. We will not compromise their welfare for the sake of anybody or anything.  We love them as they do us.  And, if they act up in the showring sometimes, that's alright.  We believe that a happy dog performs at its best, just as our show horses did in the past.

That's not to say we aren't serious breeders or exhibitors--as we are.  We enjoy the Sport of Dog Showing, traveling and meeting new friends.  We like to have fun along the way---and wish the same for our Pomeranians.

Our partner, C and J Pomeranians, owned by Mrs. Julia Smith, feels the same way.  Julia and I used to show Arabian horses all over the Midwest and did so for many years.  That's how we all met each other.  The common bond was our love of animals.

Before we breed any Pomeranians, we fully research the Sire and Dam's genetic background. Pedigrees, though helpful, do not tell the whole story.  We want to visually see the future breeding prospects.  In the past few years, a few of the Pomeranian breeders are now using the OFA & CERF  Registries to both report and/or show Poms that have been tested for certain genetic problems particular to this breed. Usually we must rely on the breeder's honesty and knowledge.  If a breeding is not successful, and there appears to be a history of genetic/physical problems occurring--which takes time to evaluate, the Sire or the Dam are immediately retired from our breeding program and adopted out to approved homes as a companion dog only.

Peeping Poms does not sell breeding stock.  We will not sell to any entity that retails or markets dogs to Pet Shops, Brokers or what is believed to be a Puppy Miller.  We do not belong to USDA.  Our Pomeranians are AKC registered only.  A companion dog is sold without the AKC papers.

On occasions we do have companion Poms for sale, or older retired males/females that can be adopted to approved homes.  Yes, we will ask you many questions because we want our Pom kids to go to homes where they will be cared for and loved for the rest of their lives.  If circumstances require that one of our Poms cannot be taken care of for personal reasons, please call us and we will make every attempt to find another home.  Our Pomeranians are not to be sent to animal shelters for any reason--especially when all you have to do is contact us.

We will, as long as we are alive and able, always be here for you if you have questions or concerns.  Why, because we care.

LOVE ALWAYS FROM LACY AND AUDRY-THE TWO WONDERFUL POMS PICTURED HERE.
